Last Blog Post
In ELO we used the iPads for the most part of the course. They were fun to use, but sometimes a little hard to type because the keys were in just on the touch screen. It made the researching part of the course a lot easier and faster because every almost every time we go to class we would have sources all the time. We also used the Mac lab a lot for the different reasons. This class was really interesting because we covered things that i would never really try because it seemed kind of uninteresting. But during the Podcast unit I remembered a podcast that these people on youtube would do, The Dunk Tank podcast. In their podcast they talk about gaming and some of their personal life experiences, which are usually really funny. I've seen a few before but I kinda tuned out because i wasn't really used to it. After the unit I think that I will follow the podcast weekly. For the blogging unit I kind of liked it, but I don't think I would make a personal blog, just because it is kind of hard to keep updating ever once in awhile.

Ways technology changed our lives
A good way that technology changed our lives is we literally have all the information that you need at the click of a button. This ,Ames things easier for students to find the information for their assigned homework. A problem that I think will occur is that the technology that we have will destroy the need for books because of audio books or the kindle. I also believe that people are not as smart because we aren't really looking for different sources of information but just sticking to one.

"HOOPSWORLD Fastbreak podcast July 8th 2010"
1. The Podcast isnt updated regularly, but It's actually really interesting because they cover a bunch of topics.
2. The hosts are really good at asking questions, which I think is a key trait that you would need to be a good host.
3. The sounds of the podcast is really nice, it never really buzzes, and the phone caller is really easily understandable.
4. They only use music at the beginning of the podcast and the end.
5. The topic of the podcast was the trades happening in 2010, but basically circles around the trade of Chris Bosh and LeBron James to join Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat. I thought it was really interesting because the they expressed their thought really clearly.
6. I give it a 9 because the hosts covered a lot, but they could've used a little

"The New York Knicks Podcast:Interview with Audley Stephenson"
1. The New York Knicks podcast used to update every week or so, but stopped during the summer of 2011
2. The hosts are comedic and know when to ask the right questions. They also know a lot about what their show is about.
3. The sound quality is great, its just like what you would hear from a radio station.
4. The music was good because they used a little mix of songs saying "hello" as an intro. otherwise they didn't use anymore music.
5. d=During the podcast they covered the topic of the Toronto Raptors and one of their needed player Leandro Barbosa.
6. I would give it an 8 because the hosts are really good at hosting.

The NBA breakdown: NBA star Tracy McGrady
1. This podcast used to update once or twice every week but mysteriously stopped last summer on July 28.
2. The names of the podcast hosts are David Mendoca and Audley Stephenson. Their podcasting seems really fun, cool and comedic, but they also like to get their answers.
3. The sound quality of the podcast is really nice and clean, but sometimes it is a little buzzy.
4. They only used a sound board type thing in the beginning of the podcast.
5. I really liked this podcast because in this podcast they interviewed one of my favorite basketball players, former Toronto Raptor, Tracy McGrady.
6. Out of 10 I would give this podcast an 8.5 because everything kinda sounded cool and entertaining, but there were a few spots where I think they could've filled in with something a little more entertaining.

Podcast response
I don't like drinking out of water fountains most of the time, just because of the idea of sharing a water source where people have put their mouths so close to. In Maples the best water fountain is in the weight room no doubt, but I think that if we did invest in some sort of water bottle refilling station then I would probably drink more at school. Another solution that I think would make the water fountains a little more sanitary would be to put a little more water pressure into them be ause I noticed that the gym fountains shoot water really low causing people's mouths to be a lot closer to the fountain, maybe even touching by accident.
