As most of the NBA sports fans know, the NBA season is cut short by two weeks because the players and the league owners have not been able to resolve a labor issue. This article that I read is about some NBA players are planning on playing in the Euro league until the lockout ends. An example that is given is Sasha Vujacic, a guard from the New Jersey Nets, will be playing for the Turkish team. The Euro league season this year started on October 17, so from what I know some NBA players will be playing basketball in the Euro league from October 17 to around November 14. All Euro league viewers and fans should be looking forward to a great start of the Euro league basketball season with their new temporary additions.
As a basketball fan myself, I am not to happy about the lockout. I have only been watching basketball games on TV for two years, so I feel like this season will be the same awesome and exciting sort of emotional season, but it sucks that NBA fans all around the world have to wait an additional two weeks before it starts up again. One big player change announcement is that i heard of was Kobe Bryant playing for Italy. When I first read that story I was really shocked. Overall I respect the select players for playing in the Euro league and I am looking forward to watching a good, but really short, season of NBA basketball.
